Acoustic Insulation Foam and Sponge Sheets.
Acoustic insulation foam and sponge are designed to reduce noise transmission and absorb sound energy within equipment or structures.
Acoustic Insulation Uses
Machinery housings
Industrial equipment where noise control is important
Acoustic Insulation Foam and Sponge Materials
Our acoustic insulation range includes EPDM sponge, polyurethane foams, and cross-linked polyethylene foams.
EPDM Sponge
EPDM sponge materials are commonly used in acoustic insulation applications due to their flexibility and vibration dampening properties. Fire-retardant EPDM grades may also be selected where additional safety requirements apply.
Polyurethane Foams
Polyurethane foams are widely used for sound absorption because their structure allows sound waves to dissipate within the material. These foams are often used in machinery enclosures and acoustic panels.
Cross-Linked Polyethylene Foams
Cross-linked polyethylene foams can also be used where both thermal and acoustic insulation are required.
